1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels. This Cookie Policy explains how Gyre uses these technologies on gyre.world (the "Site").

3. Consent

New Zealand does not currently require cookie consent for strictly necessary or functional cookies. We use analytics and monitoring technologies to improve Site performance and reliability, which is permitted under New Zealand law without prior consent. If you prefer not to be tracked by analytics cookies, you can control them through your browser settings or the opt-out tools described in Section 4.

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If we introduce them, or if we begin serving users in jurisdictions that require prior consent for non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and implement appropriate consent controls.

4. How to control cookies

You can manage cookies in the following ways:

  • Browser settings: most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Consult your browser's help documentation for instructions. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working correctly.
  • Google Analytics opt-out: you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data being used by Google Analytics on any website.

5. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we add or remove cookies. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date.
